BETTY GANDULLA
PEMBINE, WI- Betty Gandulla age 78 of Pembine, died Monday, February 22, 2010 at Dickinson Co. Memorial Hospital in Iron
Mountain, MI.
She was born in Green Bay, WI on March 8, 1931 the daughter of the late Joseph and Cecilia (Charlier) Wery.
Betty graduated from Stephenson High School in 1949.
She married Daniel Ramson in 1951, he preceded her in death during the Korean Conflict in March 1952.
Betty moved to Chicago and worked as a waitress and factory worker for several years.
She married Juan C. Gandulla in 1960.
Betty moved back to Carney-Nadeau area in 1967 to raise her family.
She enjoyed dancing, playing bingo, crafts, sewing, playing cards and family gatherings.
Betty is survived by her daughters Sandy (Chuck) Walker of Pembine and Vicki (Isidro) Renteria-Silva of Warner Robins, GA; sons Tom (Dayna) Gandulla of Studio City, CA and Jim Gandulla of Escanaba; 7 grandchildren; 3 great grandchildren; 1 great great granddaughter; sisters Marie Werner of Amberg, Maxine Person of Spaulding and Rita Ohlson of Powers; brother Bobby (Cindy) Ohlson of Hermansville; many nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her brothers Cecil and Clement Wery and Roger Ohlson.
The family will greet friends on Thursday, February 25 from 12 to 4 p.m. at the Ortman Funeral Home in Norway.
A graveside service will be held in the summer at Pembine Cemetery.
