MARY CAZZOLA
VULCAN- Mary K. Cazzola age 67 of Vulcan, died Monday, February 13, 2012 at Dickinson Co. Memorial Hospital in Iron Mountain, MI.
She was born on October 16, 1944 in Norway, the daughter of the late John and Beatrice (Ball) Baciak.
Mary was a member of St. Barbara Catholic Church. She loved caring for her grandchildren (first and foremost), reading, gardening, bird watching and cooking for family and friends.
Mary is survived by her sons Daniel (Marilou) Cazzola of Iron Mountain, Dean (Carol Trepanier) Cazzola of Loretto, Dwayne (Kristi) Cazzola of Norway, and Donald (Julie Taylor) Cazzola of Vulcan; daughter Eve (Doug) Brooks of Port Huron; 19 grandchildren; brothers Jack (Cathy) Baciak of Hamilton Lakes, Tony (Sheryl) Baciak of Norway, Bill (Jill) Baciak of Kingsford, Joe Baciak of Wisconsin Rapids, WI, Jim (Roberta) Baciak of Iron Mountain and Frank (Sue) Zychowski of Commerce Twp; sisters Barbara (Frank) Hahn of The Villages, FL and Margaret Baciak of Vulcan; Uncle Leonard (Betty) Bal of Vulcan; Aunts Helen (Adolf) Rossato of Vulcan and Amelia Zanon of Hamilton Lakes; many nieces, nephews and great nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her father John Baciak, mother Beatrice Zychowski, step-father Sigmund Zychowski.
Visitation will be held on Saturday, February 18 from 10:30 – 12:30 p.m. at St. Barbara’s Church in Vulcan.
The Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Saturday at 12:30 p.m. at St. Barbara’s Church with Fr. Timothy Ekaitis, presiding.
