PATRICIA FARRELL
LORETTO- Patricia M. Farrell age 71 of Loretto, passed away Monday, April 02, 2012 at Pinecrest Medical Care Facility in Powers, MI.
She was born on February 12, 1941 in Powers, the daughter of the late Michael and Margaret (Lyddy) Kane.
Pat graduated from Powers High School in 1959.
With her first husband, Tim Farrell, she had four children, Keith, Kathy, Karen, and Steve.
She met Francis DeFiore while working at the VA hospital and they married in 1992.
Pat loved cooking, knitting, crocheting, reading and crossword puzzles.
Pat is survived by her children, Keith (Karen) Farrell of Faithorn, Kathy (Steve) Armstrong of Eureka, California, Karen Farrell of Norway, and Steve Farrell of Rapid City, South Dakota; many grandchildren, her step-daughters, nieces, nephews, and cousins.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Mike and Margaret Kane, her sister, Marion Fogarty, brothers Donald and Bernard Kane and her 2nd husband, Francis DeFiore.
Visitation will be held on Monday, April 9 from 10 – 11 a.m. at St. Barbara’s Church in Vulcan.
The Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Monday at 11 a.m. at St. Barbara’s Church with Fr. Ben Hasse, presiding.
Interment will follow at the Norway Township Cemetery. |
