Harvey Tomasini

NORWAY- Harvey “Doggie” Louis Tomasini age 88 of Norway, passed away Tuesday, December 13, 2022 at St. Vincent Hospital in Green Bay, WI. with his family at his side. He was born on January 12, 1934 in Norway, the son of the late Louis and Minnie (Stevens) Tomasini. Harvey graduated from Norway High School in 1952. Following graduation, he moved to Milwaukee and started an apprenticeship in Tool and Die. In 1960, he and a partner started United Tool and Die, Inc. which he sold and retired from in 1996. On September 10, 1955, he married his high school sweetheart Delores “Tootsie” Ann Zychowski. They lived in Milwaukee area for the next 57 years. Harvey and Delores had 5 children, 16 grandchildren and an angel, and 10 great grandchildren. They celebrated their 67th wedding anniversary on September 10, 2022. Harvey was the president of the Tool and Die Association from 1972-1973. He enjoyed fishing, hunting, golfing, traveling and his camp. He and Tootsie volunteered at a Catholic Orphanage named Casa Amparo in Renoso, Mexico for many years while wintering in Texas. Most of all, Harvey enjoyed spending time with his family. Harvey is survived by his wife Delores; children Roxanne (Art) Turner Spera of Kingsford, Suzanne Rawling of Sussex, WI, JoAnn (Todd) Sevenz of Oconomowoc, WI, Diana (Joel) Stark of Shawano, WI and Louis Tomasini of Pewaukee, WI; grandchildren Jodi Peterson, Nick (Marisol) Turner, Charity (Kevin) Melsha, Matthew (Heather) Turner, Natalie (Ross) Zentner, Adam (Lacey) Turner, Ellie Turner, Christina (Scott) Yearian, Jessica and Joseph Rawling, Sarah and Amy (Nick Tschurwald) Sevenz, Ryan Stark, Tyler (Lauren Gunther), Daniel and Logan Tomasini; great grandchildren Kyle and Cooper Peterson, Emmett Stark, Kylie McMahon, Peyton, AJ and Kayson Turner, Hayden, Bella, and Elena Yearian; brother-in-law Ed Jasonowicz; many nieces, nephews, cousins and friends. Harvey was preceded in death by his parents; a grandson Hunter Stark; two sisters and a brother-in-law Charlotte Jasonowicz, Delores “Sis” and Willard Butler; two sons-in-law Chester Turner and Michael Rawling; and a nephew Joseph Butler. Family will greet friends on Saturday, January 7 from 9-11 a.m. at St. Barbara's Church in Vulcan. A Memorial Mass will be celebrated on Saturday at 11 a.m. at St. Barbara’s Church in Vulcan with Fr. Marty Flynn officiating. Interment will be held at the Norway Township Cemetery.
