KENNETH SIGG QUINNESEC- Kenneth Sigg age 79 of Quinnesec, died Thursday, March 13, 2008 at St. Michael’s Hospital in Stevens Point, Wisconsin, following a brief battle with leukemia. He was born July 30, 1928, in Milwaukee, WI, to the late Stephen and Elizabeth Sigg. Ken graduated from Saint John's Military Academy, attended University of Wisconsin-Milwaukee and Spenserian Business College in Milwaukee and served his country in the U.S. Navy during the Korean Conflict. He was a member of St. Mary's Parish in Norway, where he will be missed dearly. Kenneth is survived by his son Stephen (Julia) Sigg of Grand Blanc, MI; daughters Julianne Leveritt of Wauwatosa, WI., Claudine (Ron) Taub of Stevens Point, WI., Katie (Steven) Cantwell of Clarkston, MI; and 11 grandchildren: Matthew Taub of Chicago, IL., George Taub of Nekoosa, WI., Abigail Taub of Madison, WI., John Leveritt , Danny Leveritt and David Leveritt of Wauwatosa, WI., Casey Sigg of Grand Blanc, MI., Beckett Cantwell, Lillian Cantwell, Evangeline Cantwell and Cooper Cantwell of Clarkston, MI. He is further survived by dear friend Mary Jo “Jodi” Kelly of Norway, nephew Kenneth (Pat) Hepp, his children's mother Lorraine (Sigg) Kelly, nieces, nephews, other relatives and many friends. Kenneth was grateful for the love of Maureen and Tom Menard, their son Ryan, Mary Pat and Bob Madigan, and their daughter Kelly Jo. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his brother, Robert Hepp. Visitation will be held on Monday, March 17 from 9 to 11 a.m. at the St. Mary's Church in Norway. The Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Monday at 11 a.m. at St. Mary's Church with Fr. James Roetzer, presiding. Interment will follow at the Riverside Cemetery. We would like to thank all of the staff at Ministry Health Care Home Health, Hospice and the nursing staff at Saint Michael's, especially nurses Jennifer (2nd Floor), Rebecca, and Tammy (4 center.)
