KEVIN SCHULTZ NIAGARA, WI- Kevin Tyler Schultz “Schultzy” age 20 of Niagara, WI., went to be with the Lord on December 3, 2009 surrounded by family and friends, after his courage’s battle with cancer. He was born in Iron Mountain on January 28, 1989 the son of Daniel and Anne (McKelvey) Schultz. Kevin married his High School sweetheart, the women who stood by his side Danielle VanPembrook on October 6, 2007 in Norway, Michigan. He was an avid outdoorsman and loved hunting. He had an undying love for his loud trucks and fast cars. We were all so proud of him for his 3rd place in the Hermansville mud runs this summer, and his trophy boar he shot with his father figure Joe Johnston. Through all of his adversities Kevin managed to keep a positive attitude and a smile not only on his face but the faces of everyone he knew. Kevin’s favorite food was Grandma Schultz’s Christmas dinners. Because “She always knew how to make it just right.” His favorite type of music was country. When he heard country music he would say “it best describes me, because a lot of songs easily tell you who I am and where I come from.” Kevin is survived by his wife Danielle; his mother Anne Schultz of Florida; sister Torrie Schultz of Niagara; grandparents Raymond and Barbara Schultz of Niagara and Yvonne VanPembrook of Aurora and Paul Fayas of Kingsford; uncle George (Joy) McKelvey of Florida; aunt Linda (Dennis) Scott of Niagara; mothers and fathers-in-law Mike and Joyce Maszka of Norway and Mark (Kim Sgrecci) VanPembrook of Aurora; sisters-in-law Sara VanPembrook of Loretto and Kayla VanPembrook of Aurora; brother-in-law Michael (Tracey) Maszka of Milwaukee; his father figure Joe Johnston of Niagara; many aunts, uncles, cousins and friends. He was preceded in death by his father Daniel Schultz; uncle Steven Schultz; grandfathers George H. McKelvey and Donald VanPembrook; grandmothers Waneta Fayas and Emma Kmit. A special thanks to Dr. John Lowen, the Dickinson Co. Memorial Hospital staff and Unity Hospice for all your caring and giving hearts. Family will greet friends on Tuesday, December 8 from 12-4:30 p.m. at the Ortman Funeral Home in Norway. Funeral Services will be held on Tuesday at 4:30 p.m. at the Ortman Funeral Home with Chaplin David Anderson of Dickinson Co. Memorial Hospital and Fr. Matt Settle of St. Anthony Catholic Church, presiding.
