Peachie Finn

VULCAN – Peachie Ann Finn age 80 of Vulcan, died peacefully at home on Tuesday, June 7, 2022. She was born July 8, 1941 in Norway, the daughter of the late Lawrence and Leona (Faull) Tomasoski. Peachie graduated from Vulcan High School, and was married to Jim Finn for 51 years. She was a bookkeeper for Jim’s carpenter business, enjoyed going to the Norway-Vulcan Senior Center, and loved going to the Dickinson Co. Fair every year. Peachie was very proud of her daughter Candy, becoming the first female mayor of the City of Norway and the joy of her life was spending time with her grandchildren and great grandchildren. She is survived by her husband Jim; daughter Candy (Tim) Brew and their children Tami Brew and Bo Brew, whom she affectionately called her “baby boy”; step-daughter Wendy Ray and her children Amanda and Isaac Ray, Brittany, Jacob and Katie Coppens; step-son Mike (Bridget) Finn and their children Brett and Tori Finn, Brett and Donny (Kennedy) Houle and Jeremy (Ashley) Mack; 12 great grandchildren; special cousin that she treated like a daughter Tami Lake; brothers George Tomasoski and Bobby (Cindy) Tomasoski; brother-in-law Danny (David) Finn; many nieces and nephews. Peachie was preceded in death by her parents; sister Marie “Tootsie” Zanon; mother-in law Elsie Finn and father-in-law James Finn. A graveside service will be held on Thursday, June 16 at 11 a.m. at the Norway Township Cemetery.
