Walter D. Haupt

January 15, 1941 - June 5, 2021

PEMBINE, WI- Walter “Wally” Haupt age 80 of Pembine, passed away Saturday, June 5, 2021 from ongoing heart issues, at Dickinson Co. Memorial Hospital in Iron Mountain, MI. He was born January 15th, 1941 in Milwaukee, the son of the late Bernard and Helen (Dzick) Haupt. The youngest of 6 children, Wally grew up in Pembine, WI and continued to live there until his death. Walter worked as a heavy equipment operator for 35 years and enjoyed fishing, hunting, playing guitar, singing and his family. The last 8 years of his retired life was spent running karaoke shows at local venues with his girlfriend Sandy Jonet. Wally is survived by Sandy as well as his three sons; David, Ken and Robert Haupt and 8 grandchildren and a huge extended family. He will be missed by many. In accordance with Walter’s wishes private family services will be held.
